More amazing news from Nintendo! They've added Lucina and Robin (Player 1 Avatar) from Fire Emblem: Awakening (check out my review for that game here!) to the Super Smash Bros. Roster. How awesome is that? We've seen characters like Palutena (Kid Icarus: Arising) and Princess Rosalina (Super Mario Galaxy) get added, but with another female character announced I couldn't be happier. On top of that they've made characters gender neutral by allowing players to pick between their male and female counterparts; the Villager, Wii Fit Trainer and now Robin are all playable as male or female. I love a lot of the characters they've announced already, but making the roster equal parts female to male is a step in the right direction. So many gamers are female so why not represent the gender better? Good on ya Nintendo!
